9040 Full Surface Center Strap Hinge

  • Full surface strap hinge for use as a center hinge on Slide-Folding doors
  • Offset in hinge straps: 3/4" or 1-1/2" allow for hardware between the doors when folded open.
  • Use hinge back plates when bolting through non-reinforced doors.

  • a. Wdith of the door in feet (ft):    {Example: 3'-4" = 3.34 ft}
  • b. Height of the door in feet (ft):
  • c. Weight of the door in pounds (lbs.):

3) Calculate the "moment" value of the hinge set for your application

(Width of Door in feet) X (Weight of Door in pounds) = Calculated "moment" value.
