Why Bottom Rolling Top Guided Sliding Door Hardware?

Only one pair of bottom roller wheels are required per gate or door.

Bottom rollers are built into the frame of the door or gate and are designed to carry the entire weight of the door rolling on floor track.  A top guide system is used to prevent the door from tipping over at the top.

Used for the following applications:

  • The wall or ceiling is not strong enough to support the weight of the door.
  • There is a limited amount of room for hardware at the top of the door.
  • A header does not exist accross the top of the opening. Typically true for sliding gate applications.
  • Bottom rolling hardware can support much heavier doors than overhead style box and flat track hardware. Up to 128,000 lb capacity.
