416 Titite Door Bolt
#416-1 Titite Door Bolt
No. 416-1 Titite Door Bolt is used for bi-passing doors 1-3/4" minimum in thickness. Bi-passing doors do not move beyond the opening, instead one door moves behind the other allowing only one door to open at a time. the 416-1 bolt is installed to the edge of the door where the doors overlap. the "flush keeper" is installed into the face of the other door where the doors overlap. When the handle on the lock is turned, the hook reaches the keeper and latches the doors together. This locking system can only be operated on one side of the doors. Pad locks may be added for additional security.
The 416-2 is used for single sliding or bi-parting doors any thickness. The 416-2 lock is attached to the face of the door and the "surface keeper" is attached to the adjoining door or to the jamb (in case of single door). When the handle on the lock is turned, the hook reaches the keeper and latches the door.

Operation
360° turn of key or thumbturn throws or retracts the counterbalanced bolt. Key can be removed only when bolt is in a positively locked or unlocked position. Lock accepts any standara 1-5/32" diameter mortise cylinder or thumbturn from either or both sides. Cylinder must have MSŪ dimensioned cam.
