#1500 Swing and Slide Fold Door Operators
Crown Number 1500 operators utilize a harmonic motion principle with a simple crank and connecting arm movement which eliminates the complicated system of levers found in many other mechanisms. The movement of the doors is started gradually, with speed increasing in the middle of the cycle, then slowing to a gradual stop. The crank arm is driven by a safety friction disc clutch to protect doors, motors and other mechanisms from damage if the door comes in contact with any obstruction. When the doors are in the closed position, they are automatically locked. |
